The Brewers renewed Prince Fielder's contract this week for $670,000. Granted to most that is a big chunck of change but in the baseball world, not so much. Fielder had monster year and finished 3rd in the NL MVP race after finishing 7th in RoY the previous year. Hre is a link to the article:

Fielder is not happy and rightly so. Troy Tulowitzki signed a multimillion dollar contract extension with the Rockies in the offseason. The Brewers need to lock Prince up for a longer period of time now while its cheaper. Otherwise they need to start looking for anothe first baseman that will be ready to play in a couple years when Fielder leaves for greener pastures.
