Where has the summer gone?

I know it is pretty cliche to ask that question but I ask it any way. Here we are into September and even though we are still a couple of weeks from the official end of summer it is over. We have had a good summer, but a busy one. We've made a number of visits to the ball-ball games as the kids call it. We've also worked and spent time outside. It is the hope of my wife and I that our children will look back and have good memories of their childhood. Maybe it was time in the yard or at a park. Maybe it was those trips to watch the Brewers. As we move into the fall we will be going apple picking, going to the pumpkin farm and other fall stuff. I will try to be a little more faithful with these entries.
