Boston Trifecta update
I apologize for the week or so delay on this. Back in November of last year, I made the prediction that Boston area teams would win the three major sports titles holding them all at once. The Sox had just won the World Series. I believed that the Patriots would win the Super Bowl and Celtics the NBA title. Well two out of three isn't bad. If the Patriots could have held up on defensed for another couple minutes I would have hit the trifecta. Oh well, considering I didn't actually bet anything I guess I shouldn't complain.

Mile High Vacation-Day 3
We spent most of today in the Colorado Springs area. We drove and hiked (a little) through The Garden of the Gods park. The picture is from there. We also took a cog rail train up to Pike's Peak. The ride and scenery were amazing. The view from the summit (14,110 ft.) was breathtaking. We also walked through the downtown of Manitou Springs, Colorado which was not exactly what we hoped but interesting. We're going to spend the rest of the evening in the room. We fly home tomorrow and can't wait to see the kids.

MIle High Vacation-Day 2
Well we had a good but long day today. We started the day touring the Denver Mint. We then had lunch at the Cafe Berlin, a German restaurant I highly recommend. We then walked around downtownn Denver. We also toured the Molly Brown House. Molly Brown is better know as the Unsinkable Molly Brown. We also saw the Colorado State Capital building. We then went around the 16th St Mall. Finally we went to Coors Field to watch the Rockies/Indians game. We had a blast and hope to post a picture from Pike's Peak tomorrow. Coors Field is a very unique ball park, but the food was nothing special. Miller has it beat food wise by a mile. Not to mention they do not allow tailgating in the parking lot. Milwaukee would mutinee if the Brewers banned tailgaiting.

Mile High Vacation-Day 1
Well here is home for the next three nights. I know it's not a very exciting picture, but we forgot the camera in the room. We went to Dave and Buster's tonight. It was really fun. It is basically a grown up Chuck-E-Cheese, only better. The food was great and we had fun playing games and came home with prizes for almost the whole family, sorry Chewie. I hope to post a better photo tomorrow evening. Goodnight from Denver.

Product Parties
My wife gets invited to a number of "parties" where the idea is to have people over to sell stuff. It can be for makeup, cooking supplies, storage containers, etc. I know it's not a new thing I believe my mother eithter hosted or attended just about every type of product from cleaning supplies to clothing. It made me wonder why aren't these type of things big with guys. I've never been invited to a party to check out the new line of Craftsman tools or to hear the newest sound experience from Bose. I don't know if these will ever happen, but a guy can only hope. Wait what am I talking about? Never mind.

New member of the family.
We got a dog on Memorial Day and let me tell you what. It was like having a newborn again. He's a lab mix and of course we named him Chewbacca. It's a bit ironic to call a new puppy Chewie. Anyway, I'm not sure who is house training who. He has started to tell us when he needs to go out, but not without a little trial and error. Eventually when we dry out from the massive amount of rain we got this weekend and summer finally comes to Wisconsin it will be fun to play with him outside.

A note for Ocho Cinco.

Chad, Chad, Chad how soon you back down when you realize you're not going to get paid. Now show up and put up some Pro Bowl numbers and stop complaining. Guess what you signed a contract and get paid whether or not they throw you a pass or not. So play out your contract and sign with someone else when it is up.
